Christina M. Huss is presently the Director of Bands at Brooks County High School. She has taught in the Brooks County School System for 25 years, having taught at Brooks Co. High, Quitman Elementary, Simmon Hill Elementary, and Morven Elementary Schools.

Chris a graduate of Valdosta High School, where she was the recipient of the Spirit of the Marchin' Cats. She is a 1984 graduate of Valdosta State University, Valdosta, Georgia, having received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education. She is also a 1991 graduate of Valdosta State University having earned a Master of Music Education degree. She was “Teacher of the Year” at Brooks County High School in 1994.

Ms. Huss is involved in many activities including being a member of the Tau Beta Sigma Honorary Band Sorority, a member of the Georgia Music Educators Association, Georgia Association of Educators and the National Education Association. She has served as an adjudicator throughout the southeast for the past 23 years, as well as serving on various Southern Association of Accreditation visiting committees.
