Hi! My name is Ashlee Gruno, and I currently teach 8th grade English Language Arts and Advanced Reading. I am originally from Brooks County, and I love this area. I graduated from Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s degree in English. I also earned a Masters in Public Administration from VSU. After working at Valdosta State for four years, I decided to teach. From the very first day, I was hooked! I truly love reading, writing, and teaching. I feel very blessed to be able to do something I love. Since I have started teaching, I have earned my Reading Endorsement, and I will graduate in spring 2012 with my Education Specialists degree in Exemplary Teaching and Learning and a Gifted Endorsement.
