My name is Amy Young. I started my teaching career in Brooks County in 2005. I started teaching third grade at Quitman Elementary. Once I began teaching here, I fell in love with the small community and the families I have met since I’ve been here.

I was born in Valdosta, and received my degree in Early Childhood Education at Valdosta State Education. Since that time, I have become certified to teach Reading, Middle Grades Math, Gifted Students, and Special Education.
