Quick background on me. I consider South Georgia home. I went to grade school in Lake Park before moving to Florida for my middle and high school years. I came back to Valdosta in 1993 to go to college. After some time off of school and a couple of years in Alabama I came back to VSU and got my education degree in 2000. In 2007 I received a master's degree in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. I spent 7 years teaching and coaching in Putnam County (just north of Macon) and 1 year in Rabun County (Northeast GA) before coming to Brooks in 2008. My wife, Tonya, is a Brooks County grad so this is truely like coming home for us. This will be my 4th year at Brooks and I am looking forward to another great year with my kids and colleagues.
