News and Events
We have just ended the first nine weeks of school. From now until Christmas break, we will continue to work hard. In reading we will continue learning how to use the "Prove it" strategy for comprehension. We will learn all about nouns and verbs, creating a Response to Literature piece, and Persuasive piece of writing in Language Arts. In math, we will finish multiplication, learn all about division and learn several new vocabulary words in our Geometry Unit. We are learning about Rocks and Minerals and Fossils in Science. We will continue in sequence with our Social Studies newspapers learning about important landforms and more famous Americans.
Assignments
Please view your child's homework planner each night to see what he or she has for homework. They should have homework every night on Monday through Thursday. If we complete any home projects, you can find a note explaining those projects in the yellow take-home folder. These are sent home every Wednesday night.
