News & Events

We are ending our 2nd Unit (Rational Numbers/Accentuate the Negative) after Fall Break. The Unit Test will be Tuesday (October 25th). Students will receive a study guide Friday that they can use on the Test as long as it is completed. We will also finish our Unit Project (Making a Poster) this week. After that, we will begin our 3rd Unit (Patterns and Functions). This will last until Thanksgiving or maybe a week after. By the time we go home for Christmas we will have completed 4 Units, which is over half of the material for 7th grade math. Students will also complete a Portfolio by the time we end this semester (Christmas). In this project students take some of their information that they have completed and put it in a folder and organize it. This information is tests, quizzes, goals, journals, and work to show what they have learned throughout this first semester of school. This is a great way to help them become more organized.

Homework

This weeks homework will be to complete their study guide and study for their Unit 2 Test. Students also need to complete and turn in missing assignments.

How can you help your student?

Students will have homework and daily work weekly. You can help by making sure that all of their work is completed and turned in. I will try my best to keep this webpage current with information on homework and quizzes and any other assignments that are due. You can also go to several different websites that will help your child succeed in math. Those websites are on the sidebar.
