Regular Education Program- addresses the needs of students performing at grade level. (K-5). North Brooks Elementary follows the standards set by the Georgia Department of Education's Georgia Performance Standards Curriculum. Special Education Program- address the needs of students who require special individualized instruction in mastering the skills for their grade level. Special testing is required (K-5).
Early Intervention Program (EIP)- provides additional instructional resources to help students who are performing below grade level to help them obtain the necessary skills to reach grade level performance in the shortest possible time.
Direct Reading Instruction- a program that targets kindergarten through 5th grade students and focuses instruction on reading using quality literature, explicit phonics, high frequency sight vocabulary and comprehension strategies.
Gifted Program- addresses the needs of gifted and talented students, who are capable of moving at an accelerated rate. Special testing is required (K-5).
Accelerated Reader- Computerized learning system designated to help teachers motivate, monitor, and manage student reading practice.
