Be sure to sign-up for your Harvey's Hometown Reward Key!

Harveys LogoBrooks County Schools is participating in the Harvey’s Supermarket Hometown Educational Rewards Program.  This program is designed to help the schools earn much needed educational equipment.  This equipment will be used by the students to further enhance their education.  Community members may help by registering your Hometown Rewards key to any of the four schools.  To get a Hometown Rewards key visit the customer service counter or go online at www.harveys-supermarkets.com.  Once you have registered your Hometown Rewards Key you may select which school you wish for Harvey’s to donate.

Parents and Students

North Brooks Elementary welcomes parent involvement!  Parent are encouraged to participate in the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) and the Parent Partners!  For more information on how you can be involved in your child's education please contact NBES' Parent Involvement Coordinator Cindy Sheffied by calling 229.775.2414 or by email at csheffield@brooks.k12.ga.us  or the System Parent Involvement Coordinator by calling 229.263.7531 ext. 2004.

Parent Partners

Brooks County Schools recognizes that a child's education is a responsibility shared by the school and family during the entire period the child spends in school.   To support the goal of the school to educate all students effectively, the school and parents must work as knowledgeable partners.   Although parents are diverse in culture, language, and needs, they share the school's commitment to the educational success of their children.  Parent Partners will meet four times a year with parents from all four schools.  The meetings will take place at the Brooks County Public Library (click here for directions) from 6:00-7:00 p.m. 

The dates are, September 15, 2011; November 10, 2011; February 7, 2012 and March 6, 2012
