Kindergarten Registration
To register your child for kindergarten or any grade level you will need to fill out a registration packet at the Brooks County Board of Education Office.
(Former High School Building at 1081 Barwick Road, Quitman)
Children must be 5 on or before September 1 for Kindergarten. Please bring your child to registration for further screening unless they are currently enrolled in a Brooks County Pre-K or Head Start Program.
Children currently enrolled in the Brooks County Schools Pre-K Program do not need to pre-register for Kindergarten.
Parents or Legal Guardians Please Bring Your Child's:
- Birth Certificate
- Georgia Immunization (Form 3231)
- Social Security Card
- Eye, Ear, & Dental Certificate (can be done by the Health Department or by your child's doctor)
- Proof of Residence (Utility billor rental agreement)
* Immunization and Eye, Ear, and Dental Cerificates can be obtain from your child's doctor or Health Department.
Parents are asked to bring their child to register for a short screening.
Kindergarten Round Up:
April 9th 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m
April 11th 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
