Superintendent Debra H. Folsom

Debra Folsom has been the superintendent of Brooks County Schools since July of 2003.  She has over 36 years of experience in education, with 35 years working in Brooks County.  Mrs. Folsom has always maintained that the children of Brooks County are her utmost priority. She is a member of the Quitman-Brooks County Chamber of Commerce Board, Rotary Club, and Boys and Girls Club Board Member. She meets regularly with the system leadership team, school staff, school councils, and community organizations.  She and other administrators, teachers, and students speak at local civic organizations communication and portraying the mission and goals of the system.  Superintendent's Luncheons are regularly hosted by her with various groups.  Mrs. Folsom is committed in providing excellence for our children.  She is pictured above accepting the Title 1 Distinguished District Award for Small Category from the Georgia Department of Education for the 2009-2010 school-year at the Title 1 Conference in Atlanta.
